We had a great lunch.I find the reataurant in the michelin guide.In a road trip it is really nice to have home kind of cooking.I was not feeling well ,I would şike to order a soup but the the dish I choose was a soup alike dish,so I didnt have the soup.wehD cheese butter olives and the bread basket,as an entree we ordered shrimps,II had the groupper pasta with shrimps and veg.It was amasing but it was almost for two ppl the waitress which didnt mention,my partner has duck magret made out of full breast also didnt mention.The food was delicious but it was way too muuch for two of us.We felt sorry that we couldnt finish it up.My partner forced him self to finish.In the and we ask for truffles and the finish was heavenly.we recomend the place but check the portions for sure

Great restaurant, worthy of Michelin guide with an affordable, traditional and very tasty menu. Recommend it and worth the trip even if you are not in Almeirim. If you visit CISCO, take a moment to check local wine selections in local wine shops

Best "Sopa da Pedra" that I have ever had and I had tried a lot. Dishes were excellent.Portions are huge and therefore ask ahead in case you might want to share.Service is commendable. Space is limited so you will need to call ahead.

There are not enough words to praise this restaurant. I got married this summer and I was looking for a restaurant for a small group celebration (we were 20 people). I was suggested CISCO, which I didn't know, so I read some reviews and got in touch with the owners. The chef and his wife, Alexandre and Mariana, were absolutely fantastic from the start! I didn't have everything figured out about how I wanted the lunch to be, so even though they had never hosted a wedding before, they made suggestions for the menu, for the setting of the room and for the decorations. This was of great help, because I was not in the country and wasn't going to be until the day of the ceremony, so I had to trust that everything was going to work, but from the very first moment I felt I was in good hands.When the day came, I could not have asked for anything more. We had the restaurant to ourselves and the entire team looking out for our needs. I think they were a bit nervous when we arrived, because it was their first wedding, but it was amazing to see that a few minutes later, they did all the adjustments they needed and were absolutely in gear! The room was decorated with flower arrangements and very delicate details, such as porcelain dolls that represented the bride and groom. There were no exaggerations, it was beautiful, elegant and very tasteful. The food was SUPERB! We had several courses, and I still cannot decide which one I liked best. The appetisers were fantastic, the fish courses, one of which is a soup, the meat, the deserts... all were an absolute delight to the palate. The wines that were served with each course were also a match made in heaven. And of course... the cake! It may have looked simple but it was exactly what I wanted. And what mattered most... it was absolutely delicious! Even though it was the end of the meal and we were all full, we could not resist it! Our guest were also marvelled at everything and kept praising the choice of restaurant and menu.Having my wedding lunch at CISCO was, without a doubt, the best choice for such an important day. They could not have made that day any better. They were the perfect hosts! Before the day they help me make the decisions and on the day they took care of everything. Excellent, excellent meal. Traditional, well made food. I had the best bacalhau à brás I have ever had and I order it a lot. Also the portions were so large that I could not finish my portion, despite how delicious it was.The starters were also delicious, as recommended by the waiter.
